My brother made this video as a tribute to WWII Veterans.
The song (When Day is Done) is sung by my Mom and her sister who were semi-professional singers and were "just kids" then. They made a few records.
Both of them have passed on but I think they would be thrilled to know that they made a "blog worthy post".

Ok -- Somehow I ended up on this site 5min.com where they have lots of how to videos, saw this and it made me laugh and want to dance! I do need the exercise! The first minute plus you see them dancing up a storm. Then they explain how to move, looks like just 4 or 5 basic moves. They are not speaking English but I think you can follow along ok. Love how they end the video with a respectful bow!
Isn't it about time you get up off that puter chair and move around?

When I saw this on the Andre Rieu Christmas Around the World Special on PBS, I just fell in love with it.
It is the most beautiful lullaby I have ever heard, it brought tears to my eyes as a Mom.
Suzan Erens sings and I love her dress! Absolutely beautiful song, dress and performance!

Stephen Collins Foster, a great American composer and lyricist, also wrote "My Old Kentucky Home", "Old Folks at Home (aka Swanee River)", "Beautiful Dreamer", "Camptown Races", and "Old Susanna" and "I Dream of Jeanie With the Light Brown Hair".
He died at the age of 37 from illness. He had 38 cents in his wallet and a note, "dear friends and gentle-hearts".

In honor of the Boston Red Sox. I like his song. History has it that fans (The Rooters) early in this century would sing this song loud (because they were sometimes a bit tipsy) and long to psych out the other team so the Sox would win.
The ending is a joke.
