Terms of Use and Comment Policy
Terapad provides all users copyright protection policy built into each account. Read the Terapad Agreement before you comment.
My policy includes my other sites as well.
Terms of Use
1. Copying and pasting any article written by me at Penny Lane, Scribbles, or The Ink Blotter, in the entire text is prohibited and against my copyright.
2. Submitting articles I have written to third parties is not permitted without permission from me first. (Yes this has happend.)
3. Direct linking to the article/s is/are ok and encouraged.
4. Copy and pasting pictures from my blogs (aka "hotlinking" or "bandwidth stealing") onto yours, is absolutely prohibited even if you get the image off Google.
If they show up in my stats, I remove the pictures so they don't show up in your blog or message.
5. Any patterns I publish should not be uploaded onto other sites for their free use. Links back to my site are required to the pattern you wish to share with your group or friends.
6. Patterns are not to be sold for profit by any means, private, published or on any auction site such as eBay or the like. They are not to be distributed in a shop for free.
7. Removal or alteration of any credit on my patterns is against copyright violation.
Comment Policy
General note: Concerning open comments on Terapad since there is no comment monitoring here (yet),
1. Users are allowed to make thoughtful intelligent comments in relation to the article topic. Off topic or incoherent comments will be removed.
This also includes copyright infringement or violations.
2. Defamation, flaming other commenters or site administrator, spamming and copyright infringement are not allowed. Comments like that will be removed.
3. No paid commenting is allowed.
4. Promotional comments linking to business sites is prohibited and will be removed.
5. Comments containing more than one link to the commenters sight will be removed as I consider that spamming.
6. Comments with dead links or emails, will be edited or deleted. Terapad comments include ISP numbers visable to the site administrator's eyes.
7. Policy changes will be noted on this page.
Links
1. Appropriate linking to like topical reference articles on the net are permitted in (Terapad) comments.
2. Inappropriate links will be cause the entire comment to be deleted. This may include a link to your blog or many links to other blogs for promotion.
3. Link backs to any of my blogs is permitted.
4. On custom pages, link backs are encouraged. Do not copy and paste articles, they are copyrighted.
5. The Guest Book is used as a blog roll or commenting from the custom pages. You are allowed to only link your blog in the space provided and not on the comment box. Please see the commenting tutorial to help you understand how it works here.
